I love movie soundtracks. My sister and I love to play the game that,
when a song comes on the radio, you ask, "What movie is this from?"
Some songs are so iconic to the movies they're in. I thought I'd share
some of my favorite sound tracks:
1. Pretty Woman
I mean, the song "Oh, Pretty Woman." Hello?!
"It Must Have Been Love" makes you feel like crying in the back of a limo.
Hearing "Wild Women Do" and "Real Wild Child" makes every woman want to have a bad-girl side.
2. The Wedding Singer
First of all, White Wedding. I will never be able to listen to Billy Idol without thinking of this movie!
"You Spin Me Round Like a Record" and "Holiday" make you want to dance like a maniac.
"Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" always make me think of getting caught in the rain, and I picture "Rapper's Delight" being sung by a little old lady whenever I hear it.
And of course the original Somebody Kill Me. You won't hear it on the radio, though.
3. Top Gun
"Take My Breath Away" is one of the sexiest songs of all time because of this movie.
"Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" is the epitome of nostalgia.
Hearing "Playing with the Boys" can't help but conjure images of shirtless men playing beach volleyball (ahem, Val Kilmer).
Every time I say, "Goodness gracious," I follow it with "Great Balls of Fire."
