Quote to think about

I saw this quote on one of those inspirational signs in some store:

You don't always get what you wish for. You get what you work for.

I'm naturally a hard worker, so maybe that's why this quote speaks to me. I was always a good student, getting straight As for most of my life and dedicating myself to my studies. And though I'll admit I prayed a lot during my time of unemployment after college (which is kind of the same as wishing), I also was sending out multiple cover letters every day, researching job openings, networking, etc. until I finally got a job (which I love).

So, wishing may or may not work. But if you put in the time and effort to get what you want, it will work out in the end.
